COVID-19 Carekit: Re-Opening and Loans

Welcome 

Due to our campus safe management measures, we remain closed to our external members until further notice.

All our services/facilities are available except for the following:

  • Recording Pod
  • Board Games Zone

Extended External Membership Validity

Membership validity for all active paid external members extended by an additional 2 years (based on membership expiry as of April 2020).

Due Dates & Renewal 

As we remain closed to our external members until further notice due to our campus safe management measures, loans by external members have been extended to be due on 10 January 2022 (updated as of 15 September 2021).

The renewal limit has been doubled temporarily from 3 to 6 renewals for all library materials and library members. You can continue to renew if the item is not reserved.

Safe Management Measures

  • Limiting the number of visitors to the library

  • Wearing of masks for all staff and visitors

  • Hand sanitizers readily available throughout the library

  • Regular cleaning of high-touch points

  • Equipping our Counter with transparent acrylic shields to prevent transmission of droplets

  • Returned books are quarantined for 3 days before returning back to shelves

   You can play a part by:

  • Maintaining at least 1-metre safe distancing from each other

  • Keeping your masks on at all times

  • Practicing good hygiene

  • Following and complying to seat markings
