Media and Information Literacy Week

Does your friend/colleague frequently share sensational news to your feed? In this day and age, almost anyone can be a content creator, but this has also led to the spread of disinformation and misinformation. This growing trend underscores the need for not just print literacy but also Media and Information Literacy (MIL).

The Ministry of Communications and Information (MCI) broadly defines Media and Information Literacy as the ability to think critically about received information. By developing Media and Information Literacy, you can critically evaluate information, make informed decisions, and navigate the modern media environment more effectively.
